The organisation was already using HERA to evaluate all their roles. All roles had a HERA score but were placed on spot salaries rather than being placed in a pay and grading band, which the organisation recognised was not a sensible way forward.
ECC worked very closely with the organisation’s Human Resources Director and other senior Human Resources staff to:

Develop a 10 point pay and grading structure, carrying out detailed analysis to ensure the bands’ points boundaries were placed on the most appropriate points score.
Develop policies around pay progression, salary supplement and contribution points to ensure a fit for purpose, best practice reward strategy was in place.
