Tanya has over 13 years’ experience of working in the Higher Education sector.

Prior to joining ECC Tanya was Head of Reward at a member institution, in this role Tanya worked with Managers on a range of HR operational issues, including RTW, contractual issues and reviewing policy and processes in response to changing legislation. The role also encompassed pensions, pay and reward strategy, HR policy writing and general process improvements.

In addition to the above Tanya has a wealth of project management experience, delivering several strategic projects for the University, this includes management of a pensions project involving the closure of one scheme and the transfer of members into a new scheme. Tanya has also delivered University wide system projects focused on delivering enhancements in data quality and visibility plus improvements with accuracy and efficiency.

Outside of work Tanya spends time supporting her daughters many football matches, walking her dog and attempting DIY!
